Julia Pearl Robbins relates as a Theorist and Artista, producing multidisciplinary works through a variety of non-linguistic based mediums.

Crediting the work under five distinct monikers, *or at times without credit at all, the worded nomenclature and artistic medium directly reflect the subject(s) and arena of focus. Although all are fully independent from one another, they’re simultaneously engaged in choreographed metaphor, and in doing so, more broadly model the refracted dimensional scape in which we come to know and participate within within this human framework.

*to call oneself Artist, like Shaman, I experience distance from through felt-feedback. I acknowledge that both Healing and Art flow through, and may be witnessed and related to with/for/by another, but for the one engaged, it’s simply a gift of this experience :: one belonging to a field much greater than the individual and the named.

Appreciating a non-linguistic approach to the realm of theoretics, the choreographed, staged, and still image works explore a range of concepts related to the human experience as subject. With an interest in the construction and limits of perspective, both acute in cultural specificity and obtuse in the dynamics of framing, the work is motivated in its message and function.

All five monikers are featured in a self-portrait right for whitehot magazine of contemporary art visionaries to watch series

Performance portraiture, choreographed theoretics, soundscapes /vibrational tapestries, and sculpture models are informed through the discipline of Physics as well as study within Cognitive Science. The monikers’ articulations speak outside of the limits of language as nonverbal isolations informed through Structural Linguistics.

The orientations explored and displayed within the work are self-sourced and have evolved out of an experiential perspective through emersion within distinct socialized orientations active on Earth. Such locales of corollary/cultured mindsets through encouraged/normalized practice or programming, and their resulting cognitive engagement, directly inform the theoretical fieldnotes or findings presented throughout.
